The Facts
I grew up in Southern California and moved to the Bay Area at 21 which I’ve called home ever since.
I graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in sociology.
I met and married my wonderful husband—actor, linguist, and teacher extraordinaire—Chris, in 2005. We have two amazing children together, 13 & 10, and live in Marin County, CA.
I have not followed a straight and narrow path. I’ve zig-zagged my way through life working in hospitality, sales, T.V. and digital marketing, and business development.
But my desire has always been to work with people in meaningful and life-changing ways. So in 2018 I hired a life coach and started exploring how I could finally work with people in the profound ways I always imagined myself doing.
In my exploration, I decided that I wanted to become a life coach myself and found a program that I liked and enrolled in.
That year I completed two intensive coach training courses through the Academy for Coaching Excellence and was coaching part-time. About six months into the program I realized the timing was not right so I hit pause on my coaching dream.
Then, COVID hit.
After a year of living in pandemic shock, sheltering in place, social distancing, and job loss, I started to reexamine everything.
I knew it was finally time to pick up where I left off. I started coaching again and in 2022 became a Certified Professional Coach through the ICF accredited coaching program at iPEC.
Hiring a coach changed the course of my life. It put me in the direction I desperately needed to go but was too terrified to do alone. Had I not invested in my coach and in myself back in 2018, there is no doubt in my mind I would not be where I am today—not even in the vicinity.
Coaching changed my life and I believe, that if you’re willing and open to it, it can change yours.
